Turbobit Premium Account - Is it Worth It?

Turbobit allows its users to share files and use a cloud storage. In various online forums, there was always talk in the past that copyright-protected files like movies and videos are not really removed conscientiously by the service. The service is overall very good in our eyes, but only if you sign up for a premium account. The Free version is significantly worse than those of competitors like Uploaded or Rapidgator. The premium service, on the other hand, is really top-notch. We present it on our page.

The provider turbobit offers a total of five different contract periods. The scope of services is independent of the contract duration. Regardless of whether you sign up for a week or a year, the services for the user remain the same. What does change, however, is the monthly base price. The longer you sign up for your Turbobit Premium account, called Turbo Access, the more you can save per month.

A one-month subscription costs 9.95 USD per month. Of course, this has the advantage that you can cancel it after a short time if you don't like it, without incurring further costs. 6 months costs a total of 34.95 USD. Converted to the month, this is only 5.80 USD. This is already a price saving of over 40 percent. The longest contract commitment, 2 years, currently costs 89.95 USD. That is then a low 3.70 USD per month.

Turbobit can be used without registration. You can start directly on the website as a guest and share files without registering. After that you can create your own free account and organize your files with the file manager. The uploaded files are deleted without registration already after 7 days, they are no longer gedownloadet. With a free account this happens only after 45 days, with a Turbobit Premium account only after 90 days of inactivity.

Another difference is the download speed. We find this to be very slow in the Free version. The TURBO account has a download speed of 1GB per second. That is lightning fast. The last difference we want to mention is the maximum file size. This is only 20MB in the free version. In the premium version, it is increased to a maximum of 100 GB.

Sharing files is also uncomplicated with this file hoster. First, of course, a file must be uploaded. To do this, you can use the web browser or FTP access. Especially if several files or particularly large files are to be uploaded, the use of FTP makes sense. It is also possible thanks to remote upload files directly from Internet sites to load into its online storage. An annoying download to the own PC and a subsequent upload is not necessary. If the files are stored at Turbobit, you can create a download link with a mouse click and share it with anyone. This person then has access to the file. Since this provider does not allow you to password-protect your files, you are advised to be careful. One possibility is to archive the files with sensitive information using RAR or ZIP and encrypt them in this way.
